Post motor mounts

well i killed both of my engine mounts and the noise was atypical for what u think a motor mount would do and when searching i couldnt find a conclusive post so i figured maybe somewhere along the way i could help someone. It has this horrible clunking noise anytime i hit a bump. acceleration noise was broken up and it almost sound like a suspension problem. I did both engine mounts. They were both completely seperated. not just torn or ripped. completely seperated. I fixed the car and it feels like its riding on glass now. its amazing the difference engine mounts made. Hopefully i can help someone along the way. any other questions PM me. I LOVE U ALL!!

take a look at the rubber on the mount. if the mount is serperated. the metal seat is going to come up and chew up the mount. the rubber should all be intact if the mount isnt broken.
