Hey
I'm running 11 psi with a Vortech on a totally stock block. I dynoed at 350 rwhp.
The car ran fine for a year, but recently I've run into TWO failed stock valve retainers.

Sheesh,
You guys.
The car with me in it weighs about 1800 lbs.
The Salt Flats are 5 miles long, not 1/4 mi. My "ET" is like 96 seconds (that's NOT 9.6, it's over a minute and a half, okay?)
And a suppository on bicycle wheels? Now there's a visual.
And the car ran 259 mph with a 2.56 rear end (7.5" Chevy if you want to know) at about 8600rpm but calculated out to about 800rpm of wheel spin/slippage.
And that Viper on a bike, is a MAJOR pipe dream. I'll bet a nice chunk of change that it won't go 250mph. "little" things like torque, and wind resistance vs. traction, come into play real quick.
So, it sounds like about 11 PSI would be MAX, and more like 8 to 10 for long life.
BTW, for those who are keeping score, I got 238 RWHP last night on my STOCK F20C. Only mod is my own exhaust system (real short and not muffler or cat) and an Electromotive TEC III that runs everything. Steve Dose of Dose BMW in El Cajon is a magician with these things. Does BMW's to support his racing habit.
Gotta go...Dragster

Ok this is still an s2k chassis right? I wanna know what all you stripped out
Look at his avitar, it is a picture of his car with the parachute deployed. It is an S2000 engine and transmission in a very special vehicle that you will never see on the street. It is not an S2000 chassis. It is a type of car called a streamliner because of the totally aerodynamic shape. All it does is go FAST in a straight line to set speed records, hopefully.
