Most Hp From A Stock Internals F20c
Folks,
In the interest of getting my F20C over 300 mph without seriously taxing my budget, I need to know a couple of things.
I have been trying to determine how much abuse my stock S2000 will take, so, does anyone know the most HP anyone has produced with stock pistons rods, and crankshaft?
Also, does anyone know the most PSI of boost that a stock S2000 will accept without grenading?
Thanks,
Jim

I'm running 362 hp to the rear wheels with stock bottom end and 7 lbs boost. I don't really want to push it much further.
Regarding how much boost it will take without giving up I would guess somewhere in the 9 to 12 lb range if timed correctly. If you port & polish with over sized valves in the head you can run less boost for more power.

Not sure about that... u might wanna upgrade your stock oil pump.... several members in Europe has successfully destroyed their engines going ~ 150-170 MPH......

Thanks, Beroznik,
However, I am looking for a no changes to the motor HP answer. And going 150-170 in a stock body is WAYYY harder on a motor than 260 in my race car.
I'm typically on the gas for only 100 seconds or so without any clutch drops, oil starvation, issues, or missed (read over-revved) downshifts.
Thanks,
Jim
