I couldn't tell you how much shipping and taxes are for you in Canada, but I can look into the cost via Amsoil directly. I'll get back with you on that ...
Perhaps your information may help other Canadians who may not have easy access to Mobil 1.

xviper, why not 5w40 year 'round? There is something to be said for sticking with one viscosity

I was using 5W40 Castrol Syn., it was too thick, slow starting/warming and slower engine rev, "harder" to go into Vtec. (even though it is rated 5W it felt thicker at low temp. than 10W30)

Is this the new "european" formula Made in Belgium Castrol 5w40 or the old made in US syntec? If in us, that's crap oil, or at least inferior to Mobil 1 and the Belgium stuff.
Xviper, for your extreme cold temps, I'd suggest you run the Made in Germany Castrol Syntec 0w30, it's available at Walmart/CT for $6.66/L Cnd and so far it has produced many impressive UOA's with various engines on bobistheoilguy.com It's on the the thick side of 30 almost a 40 weight. Just make sure it's Made in Germany and has a green colour tinge when you pour it.
If I wasn't storing my S for the winter, that's the oil I'd use all year round.

Ever since I purchased my S2 I've used the Mobil 1 product for two reasons that have already been stated. Price and availibility vs. the others its impossible to come by and price is crazy. Im already at a $40 oil change doing it myself, some places like Jiffy Lube etc. are charging $50 plus for full synthetic oil changes! I have noticed though even with the M1 in the car I will still use a quart under heavy driving in a 2500 mile span! Has anyone else noticed this with there cars?
