RR, would this oil suit someone looking to upgrade from Redline 10W-40? I have decreased the amount of oil consumption (1qt every 2K) with the RL 10W-40.
So the tolerances on my engine might be a little loose.

Would the 0-30 Mobil Race oil be as prone to the consumption pattern I experienced with the RL 10W30 (1qt~1.5K)? How close do they compare?

Wow, That was mature. So hes a "homo" because he is simply asking that this thread get back on topic. We have other forums that are more suitable to discussion of hot 18 year old virgins/non-virgins, I on the other hand opened this thread to read about oil.

nope, your words shall echo through the halls of time, only to be brought back up by anyone who feels you may have forgotten about your immaturity...

all joking aside, is this oil 'that' much better than the regular mobil 1? has anyone done an oil analysis?

Well, I'm no tribologist, but I'd guess that this oil didn't catch on for a reason. Either the oil's performance, or the price....

Not to rehash a lot of oil talk, but there are better oils out there than Mobil1, and then there are better cars out there than an S2000...

I run Mobil1 EP 10W-30 with a few additives, I've had a oil analysis done, and came back looking good. For me, M1 EP does the job, I can find it easily, and gives me the wear numbers I like. Oil analysis only give you part of the oil & car story, but I've got better things to worry about .
