"As Spitfire illuded to - the stuff the race teams use would not be appropriate in a street car, and you couldn't afford it. Race oil is designed for short term use and is more performance oriented than oriented toward longevity of the motor."

No S#it sherlock...Never meant for my comment in regard to ENEOS's past and current accomplishments within the Racing Global Community to signify that I use their oil because I "think" they use the same stuff. That's plain out stupid and ignorant.

I just use it cause....well...its JDM from that Motha land. I dont push no body to use it..unlike yourself sir, which you are like the gentleman stated (Zx-10) like a broken record attempting to play something that is out of tune.

This is exactly why the experts that used to post in this forum have left - XViper, Road Rage and a number of other outstanding contributors.

There is no benefit to a technical forum where people post back and forth in order to stroke each other. Unfortunately, those individuals whom only want to hear their thoughts reflected back to them turn the technical forum into nothing more than a discussion forum - which eventually drives the experts away from the stupidity. There's no benefit for people like XViper and Road Rage to stay in such a forum where individuals don't want to listen to expert advice and factual information - in fact aguing with the experts, for the sake of argument.

Use whatever oil that makes you happy. Go on Oprah and bounce up and down on her couch and tell everyone of your undying love for your favorite motor oil - just post the B.S. somewhere other than the "Under The Hood" forum. And if you do post here - be prepared to be taken to the carpet if you don't have your facts right.

Problem is, you're not an expert, you're an internet pundit. Do you work in the oil analysis field? Didn't think so. Your argument was soundly refuted by an expert who towers over you in experience.

You might wish to attend a conference and get educated before your next Amsoil sermon.

I use Amsoil because it's currently the best 10W30 oil available in the U.S.
In your opinion, based on viewing bench test data from Amsoil's website.

Peace out.

I never claimed I was. However - I do know enough about motor oil to make an educated decision, and I have very clearly posted that.
