yeah thats normal when the motor is cold. what oil did you use that made the car not go through its normal warm up procedure?

I think you were just paying closer attention due to the switch. They all idle at 2K when cold. Relax.

You need to reset your computer so it re-learns the new idle.
On your '07 spec, that means turn off the car, wait 5 minutes so it does it's shut down procedure, then pull the negative battery and leave it off for a minute.

You may also want to not run Mobil1 as it has gone cheap over the last few years. Get Amsoil or do a search for some other oil suggestions.

No need to reset anything - it's cold, therefore your motor will idle higher.

It just turned cold across the country, or it's your recent oil change. I'll go with cold.

Car idles high when cold. The rest of the information regarding ECU is back info unless when fully warmed up you're still at 2K
