missed 30k service?
Hey guys/gals,
got a quick question for you. i'm looking at picking up my second s.
option 1 is 2006 with 41k miles, 30k service never done, oil changes at jiffy lube.
option 2 2006 with 50k, most meticulous records you ever seen. costs $1500 more
alright guys, obviously car #2 is preferred, but $1500 is not chump change. My thinking is that so long as i get the diff/trans fluids changed, a car with only 40k miles probably is fine and if i don't plan on ever seeing 200k miles, it shouldn't be an issue.
opinions please. looking to deal by monday. thanks in advance.
cheers!!!

other then the service records, does one show more wear than the other? if not, I would go with the better color combo, if both are identical, I'd go with the lower milage, or not, can't decide

i'm checking it out tomorrow. i'm leaning towards the cheaper car, times are tight and this is really an extra toy.
my thinking is this, that even if the diff/trans fluid wasn't changed for the first 40k miles, it's most likely okay. just looking for opinions contrary to that.
cheers,
ben

Option 2 BIG TIME!!!!! Anyone that brings their s2000 to Jiffy Lube doesn't care for their car. And 2nd, even if they do every service, every time....at Jiffy Lube, that would be a deal breaker for me. Just search Youtube for Jiffy Lube related "incident".

GOOD WITH THE GOOD RECORD FROM HONDA, WHO THE HELL WOULD GO CHANGE OIL AT JIFFY LUBE MAN COMON MAN, IF YOU ARE GOING TO MISS SERVICE FOR S2K YOU DON'T APPRECIATE YOUR CAR AND DONT CARE ABOUT.
I SAY GO WITH OPTION TWO, HE LOVES THE S2K AND BABY.
IT SHOULD ALREADY TELL YOU ABOUT CAR NUMBER 1 THAT IT'S BAD IDEA. I BET HE ABUSE THE CAR TOO BIG TIME. MAYBE OVERREV A FEW TIMES AHAH THEN BIGGER PROBLEMS WILL POP UP.
