billman250, thats what happened to me. If you say that I had not done anything so really I was lucky that I did not cause any damage to the motor, thanks

No damage, no problems, guaranteed
Its when you are WOT in 3rd and accidentally shift into second and let the clutch out that will kill the engine. But you are lucky here as well, with an AP2.

You are fine, you just missed shifting into 2nd and rev limited in neutral. Just be careful shifting 2nd to 3rd during redline, the good ol' 1-2-1 shift will end your car really quick haha
