UPDATE:

Engine is toast...not even worth repairing...i saw the insides and there were bent parts and broken parts and huge knicks in the metal.

Dealer says I need a new engine....suggests changing the clutch while the engine is out...and that I may need a new 2nd gear depending upon how it runs after they put in the engine.

Where you think I could get the price for a whole new engine...brand new? I am thinking of having a family friend mechanic do the job instead of the dealer.

10002-PCX-A05 001 ENGINE ASSY., BLOCK - 1 $2702.45 $2160.60
10002-PCX-305 001 ENGINE ASSY., BLOCK - 1 $2702.45 $2160.60
10003-PCX-A02 002 GENERAL ASSY., CYLINDER HEAD - 1 $3152.46 $2520.39
20011-PCY-010 003 TRANSMISSION ASSY. (6-SPEED) - 1 $4155.54 $3322.35

You would need one block and one cylinder head, i dont know the idfference between the part #'s listed above, btw price on left is list, and price on right is what you should be able to get from a friendly dealer. Or hardtop guy.

here are some eay auctions:
this guy asks for a lot but says will match prices:

here is just a block

here are some used ones:

I would go take a look at some prebuilt crate engine as others have suggested before. The cost could be reasonable, varies between turner. Labor costs could possibly be cut down rather then having stock engine components assembled by a mechanic. Good luck, I am sure you will have it up an running soon.
