I finished installing my vortech s/c yesterday. I added 550 injectors, denso plugs, and eManage fyi. The car starts fine but throws 3 codes after i get to about 3500-4000 rpms. It sputters after that except for when i drop the revs back down

I know what the codes mean, but any way to narrow it down?


Also, The throttle is very touchy. When i let off the gas, the car jerks and same when i slightly apply it.

The engine is misfiring, on at least 3 cylinders.

Has any tuning been done with the e-manage? Using the injector correction factor isn't going to make it run like stock.

If no tuning has been done, or will be done anytime soon. I'd remove the 550's, and go back to stock injectors to get the car to a tuner.

The tuner is 115 miles away.

I just pulled the plugs and they were black after about 15 total mins of run time.

Any way for me to give it a rough tune? I have wideband and it is running very rich. High 10's - 11s.

Put the stock injectors and FMU on. It will run fine. If you are worried about the AF# don't rev it over 5K. Swap the injectors and disconnect the FMU when you get to the tuner.
