Default Misfiring, back firing, plugs fouling

Had a misfire last night. Did the usual diagnosis, discovered it was plug No.2 replaced and it went away.

Only to come back about 20Km later. Changed all plugs, went away, came aback about 20Km later.

I suspect the No. 2 injector is sticking open and running really rich. Does this sound feasible?

I have a LoveFab turbo, 8psi, AEM EMS, RC 750cc injectors.

I have been over boosting recently so am wondering if there is cylinder damage or something. Could be unrelated.

My next step is to change injectors 1 and 2 and see if the problen reoccurs in 1. IS there any test I can do to injector 2 whilst it is out? Blow through it?

Aus, if you need you can visit me for a leakdown test at the wokshop.

I'd move the injector to see if the missfire moves. I also like to move it to the farthest cyl from #2. I have seen bad RC injectors before.

Chris has suggested rigging up the injectors on the rail out of the manifold and watching for leakage.

I have some 550s lying about I can use if an injector is the problem.

If so, do I just buy a new 750 or have them serviced?

You can also put a pressure gauge on the rail, the pinch off the return hose and let the car sit to check for injector leakdown. (less to take apart too)

I'd probably send them back to RC to have them flow checked etc. etc. If they are the problem of course.

Where my damper used to be a I have a tap point. Might see if my gauge will screw in there.
