Thumbs up Misfiring 2nd cylinder

Did a search and found I was not the only one with misfiring problem. I was misfiring out of all 4 cylinders and had a random misfire in the beginning. Now I only have a misfire in the second cylinder. I already ran a compression test, checked the plugs, and swapped the coils.

Compression test showed
Cylinder 1: 255
Cylinder 2: 258
Cylinder 3: 261
Cylinder 4: 255

When i checked the plugs, I noticed one was darker than usual. Swapped them with coppers I had laying around. Found that the second cylinder was still misfiring, and when I removed the plugs found that one was still darker than the others. I put the stock plugs back in and switched the positions of the plugs and coils. Still misfiring from the second cylinder.

I'm at the point where I think the problem may have to do with the map sensor or injectors. I am going to take the car today to honda AGAIN, and hopefully they can find the real problem.

The car is noticeably running rich and misfiring. It shakes at idle and sounds like it's bogging and misfiring when accelerating. VSA lights stay on and the CEL blinks. When you keep the throttle in the same position, i notice the car cruises normal, but when accelerating the CEL flashes, and it feels like it's bogging.

So that's where I'm at. Any suggestions are welcome.

See the Misfire Troubleshooting guide in the FAQ DIY sticky. A bad injector would be my guess. The MAP would impact all cyl...not just one.

Yeah thats true. But i think when i took it to honda they said the map was reading weird or something.. so i kept that an option.. i was misfiring in all cylinders so who knows.
