Update: installed Billman tct, verified timing, and adjusted valves again. There is still a ticking noise. It is almost gone at idle, and is rpm dependant. It sounds like it's coming from valve train, louder near rear. I took a video of sound in font of car and then below the front of the door where you can hear the nose better. Any ideas?

New video:

Thanks!

Hello! Just wanted to post an update. I'm pretty sure we found the cause of the noise. We noticed that VTEC rockers were resting on the vale springs, and we could move them freely with our hands. We suspected this was not normal, but could not see how they were meant to stay in contact with the cams. We pulled the cams, lifted the rockers, and noticed a lobe on the VTEC rockers that lined up with a hole we could not see with the cams in place. Turns out I am missing all of the "dead motion assembly" springs. I found a set and have ordered, but I feel really confident this is what is causing the noise. Since the rockers are currently sitting on the valve springs, free to flap about, I think they get shot into the cam every time the valves close. This would explain why the noise doesn't change with temperature, and does change with RPM. The new springs will come in sometime next week. I will post update once we get them installed. Thanks again for all of the help!

Here is a photo of what we found:

Where did they vanish too,at the machine shop ? you will need full kit, not just lma<lost motion assembly> springs on there own.
Should quiet things down

I'm honestly not sure. The shop gave me back everything else they removed, and I put everything I removed into labeled zip lock bags or boxes and didn't see them, nor do I remember removing them. Either way, what do you mean by whole kit? Is there more to them than the spring and the little caps? I ordered 8 of part number 14820-PCX-003

Update: Lost Motion assembly installed! Noise is totally gone and it's been running far better than it did before I started! Feels much stronger and smoother. Thank you all so much for your assistance along the way!
