I dont get your car at all. how can you have so many new problems arise.

P0118 is for the coolant temp sensor.

Do you have a scan tool that can read data? If not, get one.

Just started my car at work and it did NOT want to start. Had to give gas and it started eventually but very hesitantly. I don't have a scanner that reads data I just got it ran at auto zone. Seemed like when I started it it was almost like it was flooded or something.

first things first.

Get every code, work through them one at a time till the CEL is off and monitors are complete.

Dont do anything else, or concern yourself with any hard starting, flooding nothing.

Sounds like you have a compromised wire harness. If the engine was not removed and installed with care, damage or pinching of the harness will result....but never mind that right now.

go buy a scanner that reads datastream. if you can buy an S2000, you can buy a scanner.

Plug it in and read the coolant temp when cold.

Low coolant, or problem with Coolant Temp Sensor, plain and simple.

If you have code P0118, the gauge will be all over the place.

I bought my s2000 years ago. Not that i cannot afford a scanner, but I would just take it to a shop before I bought one.

Quick! Sell the car while it's still running!!

jk. Sounds like a headache to deal with. I wouldn't have been able to tolerate what you went through.

Problem lies within my wiring harness. Idk why im so stupid, but after I parked in my garage, with 0 bars again after being warm, I popped my hood wiggled one of the harnesses and bam 3 bars not running vs 0 bars not running when I shut it off. Guess I need to rip this bitch apart.

I say I'm stupid bc I should have tried this a lot earlier.
