I have a black wire with an orange line is reading 12v , the middle wire is black with red line(supposed ground?) that is reading .02 volts, and the white wire which on all others reads .00, but on number 2 reads 5v. ??
When black wire with orange line is hooked to a known ground the white wire still reads 5v.. Thought it would go back to .00. When white wire is hooked to a good ground it reads -.07 out of the connector and black with orange is good at .02. My head hurts lol. maybe the plug itself u bad? Or the computer is still a candidate? I really need to know how the white wire works and which is the actual ground.

Thw white wires (each one has a different stripe, or tracer as it is called) are the coil driver circuits from the ECU.
The solid blacks are the ground.
The blacks with the yellow stripe appear to be the power supply wires.

Stop grounding wires that you are unsure of before you make it worse!
Middle wire is black, and is ground.
If your descrepancy is in the white wire (should have a green stripe if it's #2), unplug the ECU connector, and check continuity from that wire from the coil pack to the ECU.

Take the bullshit Bosch plugs out of your engine, put NGK iridiums in and your problems will be solved.
Trust me.
Bosch plugs should NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER GO IN A JAPANESE ENGINE.
Bosch = European cars only.

After I drove with shitty bosch plugs for about 10 min it started this. Limped home maybe a mile or less. Put old plugs back in switched everything around tested each pack and plug individually out of the motor against a known good ground. Any combination of plugs and cop works in every cylinder but number two. I didn't run the car with either of my "home remedy" grounding test as not to fry anything, just waiting for replIes on here to see what the next step is
.
I guess my next course of action is to continuity check that white wire from computer to connector and see if it has a break. If it doesn't and is reading 5v dc at the ECU, would that rule the ECU as the problem? I also have a friend that has an ap1 that is willing to let me borrow his computer to check it. Would any year ap1 work correctly in my car?

And just to hit on this the white wire you have the correct info, but my black wires one has red stripe, another has an Orangeish stripe. I believe the red stripe is ground and orange is 12v, either way obvious to tel which is power and which is not.

Unhook the battery for a few minutes, let the ecu reset, put old plugs back in, and go drive for a bit and see what happens. It's too odd that just when you replace the plugs you drop a coil pack.
