Default misfire on all cylinders?

My check engine Light came on for a week then went away. I didnt notice a difference in the performance but its back on now i went to autozone to see what the light was for and i have a misfire on all 4 cylinders. i have had to replace my timing chain tensioner twice and i'm sure its about time to replace the chain. Could that be causing the misfires?

just had this. check plugs and coils, if not do valve adjustment. running a nice fuel injector cleaner wouldn't hurt too

Also check the crankshaft position sensor. The ECM detects misfiring by using the CKP sensor to monitor fluctuations in crankshaft speed. It will then set DTCs depending on how much misfiring occurs.

Is this not the purpose served by the knock sensor?

let me know what you come up with, Ive had a misfire in every cylinder for a little over a year now and about 20k still ive done literally everything except a leakdown so i would assume thats the problem for me but who knows keep looking, best of luck!

I've had this problem for about 6 months since a valve adjustment I had done at a local shop. I'm beginning to think that it's a valve lash/retainer issue.

i did a lot of things and went back and rechecked my valve and they were too tight (owner before me told me it was just adjusted by honda dealer before i bought it. a local shop readjusted them for me and my missfire went away for good.
