MIL Light
HI Guys
I'd appreciate a bit of advice. The MIL in my 2001 is constantly on. My guy says the codes are indicating catlytic converter issues. I believe they're expensive. Where is the best place to get one? I'm in California.
Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys
I'm referring to the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL). That's what the manual calls it anyway. It's a yellow light displaying the outline of an engine and the word "CHECK". I think we're referring to the same thing. I'm not referring to the Maintenance Required lamp.

CEL (Check Engine Light) = MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light)
First, you need to know which specific code it is. It may not be the cat. It may be the O2 sensor or it may be the "heated circuit" of the O2 sensor. And there are 2 O2 sensors.
