metal sraping/grinding/creaking noise with LOW RPM
Not sure if any one has the same problem. I have recently discover that my AP1 S2K makes metal ticking/sraping/grinding/creaking noise when the car rolling with low RPM, between 2K~3K. Its louder and clear when making turns. The sound comes under the hood ( i have drive in the parking lot and have it confirm with my friends). However, it stops when the car is in nutral.
Does any one might know whats cause the problem? please help..
Ap1 2003 with 60,000 miles.

sounds like it could be brakes or wheel bearing? clutch will grind, but your car will not go far if its the clutch
does it go away in neutral while rolling? is it louder when your in reverse going slow.

Thank you for helping out. The sound is going away when in neutral, it not getting louder when in reverse going slow.
I actually found another posted stating that his 2k has the same problem and it turn out to be the Engine Oil Level is too low. After he changed the oil, the sound disapear.
I just went to get a bottle of Engine oil and add it in, it seems the sound disapear too, but let me update tomorrow after had chance to drive around the city.

Holy Moly! If you are hearing noises and you added oil and the sound went away, that is definitely not a good sign. Do you check your oil frequently. I would not be worried about internal engine parts being properly lubricated. Yikes!

Ill try my hardest not to sound like a dick but do you know anything about cars? If you just decide to add in a quart of oil because your cars making a noise without even checking the oil level first... then obviously you dont.
What exactly lead you to believe you needed oil....? And think about it, if its something to do with turning then what in the world would tell you to randomly throw in a quart of oil? But hey you got lucky this time but please do some reading on this website and learn the car inside out. Random noises are very common in these cars so just dont go throwing in a quart of oil for every noise you hear from now on.
