Default Metal clunking noise from front

I lowered my coils the other day now Every time I go over bumps or uneven pavement I hear a metal on metal clunk coming from the front drivers side coilover. I looked under the car and I'm guessing its the sway bar banging off the lower control arm. Has anyone else had them problem? Or anyone have any other ideas of what it could be? Thanks btw the car has 56,xxx and the coils have about 3,xxx

Mine has done the same thing for the past 20k miles. I believe it has to do with the sway bar end links. I dont have the money to investigate or fix it. So ive just been driving it. I hope thats not bad

It could be the sway bar end links knocking against the back of the coilovers. I know that when I installed my N+'s they contacted the end link a bit. I assume you have the stock sway bar?

I actually took the away bar off and end links out and it still makes the metal on metal clunking noise. Could it be the control arm do they have bushings? Sorry it took so long my tapatalk app is messed up.

My car's been doing the same exact thing for about the past 1500 miles or so, totally clueless to why it's making that noise. It seems to only appear when I'm in first gear driving around 5mph or less, and when I let off the gas I hear the metal clunking noise from the front like you're talking about. Tried looking underneath the car and nothing seems wrong with it. Need some help on this as well, BUMP for you.

Check bushings. Check trans mounts.

Did you pre-load the control arm prior to torqueing the bolts all back together (jacking up the front under the control arm until the vehicle lifts off the jackstand), it sounds like you have a loose bolt/bushing.
