Id be surprised if it was legal to sell a car without disclosing it had the airbags removed.

bumping this. I installed just the connector of the new seatbelt tensioner and the code still will not clear!! ANYONE??? desperate at this point.

Snap on scanner blinked manual codes through EPS light, however EPS light is not on. the 2 codes that were shown through the EPS light were 3-2 and 3-5 . which are short to ground and high resistance in driver seatbelt tensioner. (translated as SRS not EPS)

I perform the SRS light reset procedure and it works all the way until the last step.
#7. The SRS indicator light will blink two times indicating that the memory has been erased.

It blinks once then comes back on. Now does this mean theres still a problem or i am not clearing correctly?

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Let me guess...the SRS computer was "fired" off with the air bag and you had to replace it?

It looks like the ecu tried to deploy the airbags, but didnt deploy because the light was on for one of the 3 reasons i found. It sent the signal and still fried itself.

Hm that may mean you need a new SRS module, have you replaced that already?
