Megan Racing strut bar issue

Yes it's hitting the liner but if it's a bar for the S2000 it should fit without having to remove the liner?
I tried emailing Megan, no response

This bar might fit, and it may just be something else going on. Try taking photos so we can see the entire engine bay. If the bar is to blame, the interference must be near the strut towers.

My OG Comptech one rubs the liner ever so gently, but it doesn't prevent the hood from closing. Bad design it sounds like on the Megan one, I'd return it if it's making so much contact the hood won't close properly.

If push gets to shove, my understanding is that this bar is not needed in an S2000. The chassis' design is stiff enough without the bar.
Just a thought...

Were the mounting plates already attached to the bar? Or did you have to do that yourself. I wonder if they are left/right and possibly reversed.
I would also try removing and reinstalling the entire thing in case something isn't seated properly.

I had to mount the plates to the bar myself.
They are a left and a right plate, they will only go on 1 way.
I was adding it more for the look than anything functional.

would work better if holes elongated so if sits lower on end brackets.depends by how much more clearance is needed tbh..?
But thinking send it back, its going to make vibrations that close to upper mounting,as mountings move around some.
will just end up hacking it around and will not look super
