Is it me or do s2k eat up crank and rod bearings

Pretty much every failure is likely linked to an oil system issue, most commonly caused by low oil.

people with engine issues (rod knock etc) will post here looking for solutions. If your engine is running well, there's no reason to post so you haven't heard about ALL the problem free engines. Its all about perspective. Think about the evening news- virtually the only thing they find newsworthy is bad stuff- murder, ISIS, taxes, death, the economy- and hardly ever report good stuff. If all you heard about was the good stuff, you'd also have a skewed view of the world.
don't stress out. Do as the posts above do- it is wisdom you can take to the bank.

There is no threads currently saying that they have rod knock.
Wouldn't that be a thread?

I noticed that a lot of people on here misdiagnose there cars as having a rod knock and it is something as simple as the TCT or in need of a valve adjustment
I also tend to beleive that many of people posting rod knock issues are boosted or neglect there cars (low oil etc...)

Yeah after I read that thread I also had a headache. Just noticed that some of those guys had very low mileage when there motors died on them. But that could of been for different reasons. But still some had like 36k to 60k on there motor's.

I know the feeling. Car is so good to you, that you want to treat it the best way possible. But, good oil and routine maintenance is all this car needs. It is not a high maintenance car.
