cheers 4 the burnout tips guys but i dont think ill be trying any more for a while might just get some stickyer rubber for the strip(any recommendations)? on a brighter note just got my rear strut bar and intake manifold heat shield gasket in the mail 2day still waiting on my head gasket and front strut bar(wahoo my first spoon gear)! pity my car dont go though

If you're going to the strip, get drag radials.

You're going to need a beefier clutch to hold the grip, though.

1. Make sure you have a friend with a flatbed tow truck or trailer with a winch.
2. Stock up on used differentials and axles.

just a little closure on this 1 i did fry my clutch it was a mess
replaced it with act street clutch(it will do for now) + light weight fly wheel, i am also now well aware of the meaning of notorious top bolts(wat a prik),
on the up side i gots me a better clutch now,
on the down i blew a seal in the master cyl a week l8tr
but nurries now

Easing the clutch is way worse than dumping. Think about the abuse it took at such high rpms. Sometimes you can actually break a piece of the clutch off and lodge it between the pressure plate and cltuch. This will prevent you from being able to put the car into any gear. Have someone open it up and see if it salvageable.
