You probably did this to your car without the fancy smoke.

And I will not flame you. I will just say to be more careful with your car.

that is a great video lol I hate vett owner (well most) and if u want to do a smoke show put a little water down drop the clutch somewhere between 4-5k at best. no brakes should brake the tires lose easy then maybe tap the brakes to keep the front from going far.
on your act question I have the act clutch pp, and lightweight flywheel for 60k and still looks brand new but i also don't drop it in at 8500 rpms

NEVER ease the clutch out when trying to do a burn out or power launch!! You will absolutely glaze or burn out your clutch.. BTW, from reading other threads an AP1 seems to respond best to revving to 6000 rpm and side stepping the clutch (let your foot slide off clutch pedal, and let the pedal come up as fast as it wants..). Higher rpm takes out the clutch, lower rpm damages the differential.
Before you try this again, may want to find someone locally who can teach you how to perform correctly.

The ACT clutch will be fine, just use the OEM PP and all oem bearings and so on. Dont give into the "crank walk" paranoia that floats around because there were many other factors in those cases, oil starvation etc...
I have been using the ACT street disk and oem PP now for 5 years and never a single problem and it feels great. I have ate up a clutch master cylinder but thats a cheap easy fix.

first i heard of anybody dumping their clutch near redline......
obviously it's not the fastest way to leave the line, but you can leave rubber for a good 50 ft

I used to brake stand on my old car...rev to 4K, sidestep clutch, back breaks loose, hit the brakes...not HARD, just enough to keep the car from moving. (front brakes get more bias so rear brakes are loose enough to spin through). Never tried it on the s2000 though...didnt buy it for the stupid good fun of burnouts
