Master slave cylinder, how to check leak
Hey guys
Took my 2005 s2000 to honda for a service and they've just called me to tell me there may be a leak from the master slave cylinder.
Apparently they're not sure and the only way to tell Is if they pull it apart. As I've only owned the car for 4 months they say it may be that some fluid has leaked from a top up but there is no way to be sure.
Any simple ways I can check this myself? Car drives fine to be honest at my end
Any help much appreciated thanks

there is a brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. which are they referring to?
you can easily check if your clutch master cylinder is leaking if you follow the CMC pushrod that connects to your clutch pedal and see if it's wet and leaking onto your carpet below.
Clutch slave cylinder would be harder to check since it's under your car in the tranny tunnel, not easily inspected unless you lift your car up.
My guess is your leak is from either one of the clutch cylinders. The brake master cylinder isn't a common part to fail from what i've seen.

Thanks man sorry it's the clutch master cylinder. Slight oil where the pedal is but not dripping or anything. Nothing on the carpet that I could feel

Typical, change/bleed your clutch fluid a bit more frequently and it will stop. And don't listen to the stealership.
