Get an open wrench (12mm I think) and loosen the bolt for the hard line into the mc. Then go get under the dash and pull the clip out of the pin that connects the the mc pump rod to the pedal. Then slide out the pin. Next remove the two 12mm (again, I THINK) nuts from the mc. This is still underneath the dash. You should be able to tell which ones they are because they are on either side of the pump rod. Then carefully pull the mc out from under the hood, and make sure you save the mounting gasket. Replacement is the reverse, but make sure you bleed the system.
Again, I don't remember the exact sizes of bolts and nuts, but you get the idea. I also found it's a lot easier if you first remove the ecu. I didn't disconnect mine or anything. I just unbolted it and moved it to the sized so that I could more easily access the mc nuts.

You don't need a jack to switch out the clutch master cylinder, but you will probably need one to bleed the clutch line.
Only other tip I can think of is put aluminum foil under the master cylinder before disconnecting the clutch line to catch any minor spills.
Also take out the driver's seat; it's well worth the effort.

i did this 2 weeks ago. you will definitely need to take out the ECU. driver's seat, it depends on your size. MAKE SURE YOU USE A LINE WRENCH/FLARE NUT WRENCH to get the hard line out of the master cylinder or you WILL strip the fitting on the line! trust me you don't want to deal with that. also you need to take the hard line out of the slave cylinder and bleed through that first before you will be able to bleed the entire system.

ok well i changed to master cyl and that was a PITA! i took the seat out and left the ECU in which wasn't really in my way. i haven't had my body twist to get into that in a LONG time couldn't put both hands above my head that made me feel fat as hell. but thanks for the advice everything works great now.
