Default Map sensor TSB performed, still hesitating?

Well, I had the dealership replace my MAP sensor and install the zip tie set-up on my 01 free of charge. The problem did not go away, it still sometimes does not engage vtec at the right time, acceleration gets flat, etc. It seems to be affected by heat, if the motor is not heat soaked it seems to be much better than when I have been in traffic. I have had the car almost 4 weeks and I have only got a handfull of decent pulls out of it. I searched around, didn't find much apart from the map whack. I got a K&N FIPKII on it yesterday, seemed to not change anything. Because it is random and sometimes doesn't occur (especially in 1st gear) I am assuming the ECU is getting a bad signal, or the vtec solenoid is acting up.

Cleaning the IAC it seems to help with stalling etc, also you could try to clear the ECU but that is subjective to working or not.

I tried resetting the ECU several times (pulling the "back up" fuse) with no change. Do you need to put electrical load on it after the fuse is pulled?

I was instructed to " Pull Fuse"

wait 30-60 secs (less probably but I over do things)

insert fuse.

Start car with EVERYTHING OFF - Headlights, radio, etc.

Let it run for a few minutes (I let it run for like 4-5 minutes) to re-learn.
