Default map help please

will a map from the usa be ok to put in a uk car??? iv bought it already and presume there all the same jsut need re-assurance thanks

I would assume that they are all the same. There would be no reason for Honda to use different MAP sensors from country to country or altitude to altitude as each vehicle would need to be able to read different pressures.

Actually, they might be different, due to emission standards; a friend of mine had trouble registering is UK car here in California, because although the engine was exactly the same GM 2.0 Ecotec as in the pontiac solstice, and it tested actually cleaner than US. standards, it was not US spec; and that was enough for the inspector to fail his car. Added to that, the fuel octane grades are different between Europe and here.
So, it might be a good idea to check with Honda America first .
