Malfunction Indicator light
#2
no one will be able to tell you how to diagnose the light without a code from the computer. chances are though it is being caused by your test pipe, even though you have the cel fix on the pipe the newer S2K's are very sensitive to changes and the computer was able to pick up on this. I would try to add one or two anti foulers to the cel fix on the test pipe.

Find out the thread size of the Oxygen sensors. Go to your local autoparts store. buy a corresponding spark plug antifouler. if it's too short, enlarge a hole in it to accomodate the tip of the oxy sensor. then screw one more on top of that, then the whole assembly into the test pipe.
The point is to make the second oxy sensor smell less exhaust than the first, and since the spark plug antifoulers have small openings, they allow less exhaust to the second oxy sensor.

It will proably come back unless you fix the source of the error. As others have mentioned, the test pipe is the likely culprit, and the only way to know for sure is to pull the code when you see the light again.
