Maybe more constructive comments would help. If he wanted a stock car, he would have left it that way.

Your problem is that your ECU is not getting a feedback signal from the post cat O2 sensor. You need to fool it into thinking there is a signal. I don't know how to due it on the S2000 but I have done it on other cars using a resistor to simulate the load. A good automotive electrician should be able to hook you up.

Utah.

I haven't looked at the car yet, but I have the values from the Helms manual. The secondary sensor reads 0-1.25V (0.1-0.9V idle). The lower the number is, the higher the oxygen content. Depending on whether your car is rich or lean will determine what to do.

Lean = step up the voltage
Rich = step down the voltage

If I remember my ELEN class, a resistor inline is all that is required to step the voltage down. Stepping up the voltage would require additional energy? Someone with an EE/COEN background would have more insight. First step is to get the voltage readings from your two O2 sensors. The easiest way is an OBD-2 scanner. Tapping into the lines with a multimeter would also work.

Thanks again for the info.

Just read in another post about a supercharged guy who is running a cat bypass that GSRacer suggests using a O2 sensor simulator from importparts.com.

I quote:

"Utilizes a RISC processor to exactly simulate the oxygen sensor outputs from the catalytic converter. CEL-free guaranteed! The Sim computes various vehicle sensor parameters in real-time to mimic the oxygen sensor outputs. No more check engine lights!"

Sounds good and i've mailed their tech-support to see if it is compatible with the S2000.

If the response is good, ill give it a try.

Max.

Importparts.com have replied with the following:

"We can't confirm that the 02 simulator will work in your S2000."

I've asked for a contact point for the manufacturer but it doesn't look promising.
