when my key is fully turned, every light on the dash flashes(normal), then the maintenence required light blinks 5-6 times before it turns off.



what could this mean? oil changed less than 2,000 miles ago.

when it flashes multiple times..it means that maintainence is almost due...when it finally stays lit..maintainence is do...however AP1 maintainence lights are based on mileage not on driving habits and conditions like on the maintainence minder system on the newer ap2s. theres a way to reset it...

turn the key two clicks...hold down the trip button until the light turns off.

if that doesn't work, check the owner's manual on how to reset it.
