For those of you that don't know, Wisconsin keeps the following counter in his signature:

It has been 0 days since someone has asked any of the following:
Will there be any changes for the 2006 S2000?
Will there BE a 2006 S2000?
What are the best mods for my S2000?
How do I reset my maintenance light?

Weezie was confused as to whether your question technically qualified as you didn't actually ask how to reset it.

The counter is not meant to irritate or belittle anyone, it's just that these same questions get asked over and over. When ever one of these questions get asked, a bunch of us think "Woo Hoo, Wisconsin is back to 0".

We are easily amused.

BTW, Alaska, if for some reason you don't know how to reset the light, it is in your maintenance manual. You just press and hold the trip odo reset button and turn the key to the ON position. Hold the reset button till the light goes out.

It's mostly because these simple questions have simple answers if you simply read the owner's manual. And if you bought a used S2000 and didn't see an owner's manual, your first simple question would have been ............... Where is it? Simple, huh?

Thank you much for getting it and posting that explaination, SheDrivesIt, as I couldn't have said it better myself. And apologies to alaskas2000 for not getting my comment and being legitimately confused at it. It was totally meant in good fun and jest, though it's clear to me now that you didn't understand it that way. Quips like that don't translate well over raw text without the full context included, so it was my fault. For some reason Wisconsin's "Redundancy List and Daily Countdown" is funny to me, and that's all I was referring to. Yes, I can be easily amused, and depending on conditions, frighteningly so.

Cool... And normally I don't ask those stupid questions.. I just really haven't had time to have a look in the manual if I can even find it... I just got rid of my type R which I knew more than enough about and since the S2 didn't have the magic button down below... I thought I would ask... Well now I get it about Wisconsin's list and will probably be just as easily amused... Thanks for clearing things up... everyone have a good three day weekend....

Top goes down when it hits 40 Degrees.....

In the early days of this forum, there was another S2000 owner posting here from Anchorage. He drove his car through some of winter. At the time, I believe he and I were two of the very few who winter drove our cars. People thought we were nuts, but since then, a lot of people have been inspired enough to start doing the same. How about you? Do you see other S2000's in Anchorage?

Well I do see other S2000's here in Anchorage. I am not sure how many there are but I would say around 10 maybe... Mine stayed in the garage until most of the snow was off the streets. Mostly because I have a work rig I drive everyday. I do try and put the top down as often as possible though, even if I have to wear a knit cap and sweatshirt the top is going to be down.... I mean that's part of the reason why I bought it... I would like to see if there is enough people in Alaska that would be interested so we could get a community of our own, but I doubt it....
