maintainance required signal

Default maintainance required signal

Hi, guys

Since I did oil change last week, when I first start the car the maintainance require signal blinks 10 times and goes away. anybody know whats wrong with it?

After the oild change (Mobil 1 Fully synthetic extended performance 5W-30)
car seems to run smooth and idles good.. but.. that signal bothers me.. please help.

Comes on automatically every 6-7.5k miles whether u need maintenance or not.Info in your owners manual and search reset maintenance light.

i think there's a how to in the "intro" section also (if you lost your owner's manual)...

put key in in off position. Hold trip reset and turn key on while still holding trip reset button until maintenance light goes away. Takes maybe 20 seconds.
Also search as you are obviously not the first person to have a scheduled light come on...

it'd be interesting if for the first month of membership the default signature should say that exactly...
