Works perfectly fine just the light blinking is scarying me . The light goes off after blink like 3 or 4 times and does not come back. Only come when start my engine. Is it normal for it to blink or i have a problem?

There is a way to disable it in the manual. It comes on every few thousand miles to remind you to do an oil change, etc. Nothing serious. I'd only worry if the check engine light came on.

It works with your odometer. It's telling you by blinking you have a required maintenance coming up.

Read your owners manual and it will tell you what it's for and how to turn it off or check the faq's here. You probably want to know what it's for.

Have you found the secret compartment yet? If you don't see your manual, it might be in there.

Have fun with your new toy

its just as said above. every so many thousand miles it comes on to tell u to check your manual for what your next maintenance should be. to turn it off simply hold down the TRIP button while the car is off. then turn the ignition switch to the ON position while still holding down the TRIP button. it takes no more than 30 seconds. the light will dissapear.
