Default Magnaflow rep here, on behalf of Spugen.....also introducing our new FULL titanium

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I am going to be helping out Spugen with any techinical data on the Magnaflow muffler.

I also wanted to let you know that we have just finished development on our new FULL TITANIUM catback for the S2000, which will be available through Spugen as well....

The full titanium system will be 6.5 pounds, and should come in at close to $2000.

To give you someback ground on myself, I am a Mustang guy, as I own 2 Shelby Mustang and a newer one as my daily driver, but I am a true car guy, in the fact that I will respect anything thats fast....

I look forward to answering any questions you might have, and I want to thank Spugen again for inviting me to the board.

My email is bbass@magnaflow.com if you have any questions

Thanks,

With such price tag, Can you compare this exhaust with Japanese made exhaust? Amuse, JIC, Mugen, ARC, Top Secret? What does it have in advantage over the listed in comparison. Why should member here buy your exhaust? Alittle sneak peak of your spec or tech date would be nice.

I'd like to see more info too, but magnaflow (in my experience) makes a good product. I'm glad to see them offering this, and can't wait to see it!!!!

I saw it at SEMA, and it looked very tasty, although I am a bit dissappointed in the price... I thought it would be around $1500-below... anyhow, I am very glad to see Magnaflow step up like this...they do make great product...

Say hi to Darren @ magnaflow, from Gordan @ By Design...

who are you? whuh? whuh?

i would love to see the power gains. is this a dual or single outlet?

and please compare apples with apples. since it's titanium, compare it with fellow Ti exhausts.

my Top Secret weighs just under 6.0 lbs (5.9525) and retail on that is $1200+.

the Amuse single and dual outlet R1 both retail for $1995.
Amuse R1000 retails for $1650.
ARC single retails for $1960.
ARC dual retails for $3240.

I also saw it at SEMA and was impressed at the design but flabergasted by the price.

Veilside Ti exhaust also is full ti and is under 850 if im not mistaken. If i remmeber correctly, the Magnaflow unit did have a resonator which is a plus IMO.

I realize 2k is list and we woudl most likely see prices in the 1500-1600 range but even still, thats a bit high.

BTW, you never introduced yourself. Whats your name?
