Machining flywheel for more plate pressure
Long story short, installed a clutch masters FX 500 w/sprung friction. The flywheel was resurfaced but somehow its slipping up top at a little over 500hp
The pressure plate is insanely light...like i thought it was broken. Apparently that's just how it is. I pulled the trans and found a little scarring on the flywheel after 600 miles... Im at a loss on what has happend
Question is, if i resurface the flywheel again and shaved 040" more on the pressure plate mounting surface than the friction surface would that give me a bit more pressure?
