Lubricating caliper slide pins

Any silicone (brake) grease is sufficient, I also have the Honda stuff from some rebuild kits I bought. When I do it I pull out the boot, grease up the pin and put the pin in the hole to lube the interior areas, then lube the boot and put it back on , followed by the pin.
This used to be a yearly maintenance recommendation wtih all Hondas a few years ago, before the industry got into this "lowest cost of ownership within the first 5 years of ownership" bullshit statistic. Since that time Honda's maintenance list has really shrunk. If you want to reduce the chance of calipers sticking due to dry caliper pins I'd keep them lubed, maybe every 2 years wouldn't be a bad idea.
