LSD questions
well a week ago, i broke some teeth of the ring gear in my differential. Its time to upgrade to a stronger differential. Couple of questions i have.
1. I do mostly daily driving but i like to pedal to the metal atleast once a day. Which lsd is good for me. I drag race on friday and sat nights.
2. Can i buy both a LSD and FD gears and install them both. Is that possible? (flame me for this one if you wish)
Thank you and sorry for making another thread. I searched but found little.

I believe Quaife is now making an LSD for the car, and if you want stronger gears, then go for the Richmond gears that Hardtop Guy and Rick's sell over the Mazda or Kia unless you cryro. Note the Richmond gears do whine compared to the Mazda or Kia gears.

The Torsen took a huge beating on the drag strip and yes.. eventually broke.
IMO the OEM Torsen LSD is pretty strong, needs no special oil, no clutch disks, just good oil.
Read your owners manual for Honda's diff oil recommendation, AND STICK TO IT!
Richmond 4.56's do not whine IIRC, their 4.57's do, trust me
OEM Torsen LSD with 4.56 FD is
P.S. 4.57's are better though
