I'm seeing all sorts of diameters for low-restriction catalytic converters as well as test pipe. With no explanation of why or what diameter provides the best performance. All sorts of shapes too?

Any links to results appreciated. Even the highly regarded low restriction Berk cats come in different diameters.

I believe a cat/testpipe that matches the size of your exhaust is best. I think this was suggested by Gernby and he might've posted some results from his test somewhere on s2ki.

Yes, Hondata Flash Pro. Best investment i made, i was running a AEM EMS v2 Standalone for a few weeks and swapped to the Hondata. Now i got that $2000 box sitting in my room.

Regarding diameter this is the one you want if you are remaining all stock. I recently changed by broken OEM cat to this one and it has been a breeze!

I wouldn't lower the VTEC engagement point until you can see what its doing on a dyno. Engagement plays a big part on how smooth the power transition is from low to high cam.
