yes, post this up...I'm interested as well. How much hp are you making?

I'm should be prototyping the new full race intake manifold so maybe I'll get a dynojet reading then?

i didnt think anyone would really care....i'll post up the sheet when i get home tonight. the car was tuned on a dyna-pack, and my 213rwhp pull was on a mustang dyno so hp numbers are a little weird. i dont think 11 was my highest gain, i might have cracked 13. it was a different dyno session. the car was tuned using 5th gear??? he pulled the car for a baseline and the dyno only read 186rwhp! i almost crapped my pants!!! what!!! after all the tuning was done using 5th i asked him to pull it in 3rd and that when i got the 218rwhp number. i was at first disappointed because that would mean that my berk TP and VFAC only gave me 5rwhp. but he assured me that his dyno reads lower than reality. he said on any other dyno i'd be mid 220's easy. whatever. i'll know for sure when i do my next pull on a mustang dyno(the dyno i baselined on.)

on a side note: leaving the dyno i whooped up on a 240 SR swap on high boost. he said that he makes 215rwp, and i put 2 cars on him so i must be making decent hp regardless.

Good job buddy. Yeah there are a lot of variables there, so you pretty much can't tell anything!
I thought dynos were to be done in 4th gear?
We will wait for the original dyno for a true comparison. *fingers crossed for 223 whp*!!! And dude that's without a lightweight flywheel, snorkel, or header!

i like to call it the "rice factor." how much hp does a lightwieght flywheel typically add? i would like to be at 225rwhp without header, snorkel, and flywheel. i want to make the most power with the carefully chosen mods. that and i am poor. hahahaha!

It's tough to say.
Depending on the flywheel (Spoon, Comptech, Cusco), it should free up a few. I am guessing 2-4whp. Plus it will rev up and down quicker. Less inertial mass to fight!
You can get an AUT snorkel for like $170 I reckon. I mean, yeah, it might only add 1 hp, but it will be better off the dyno just driving around. Plus look a lot better under your hood.
And dude, a 66mm TB is only $150!!!!!!! PROFLOW BABY!

I havent dyno'd, and I doubt anybody has dyno'd just a TB...
But on AJ-R's site, it says the J's 64-66mm TBs dynod like 7-10hp.
I'm callin BS on that much, but I would say a 66mm should at least add 3-5.
I don't know where in the rpm's, but it should help throughout except down low low low. And for $150? Even 2hp would be okay!

This weekend I was watching one of the "Two Guy's Garage" type shows on the Speed channel and they changed out a flywheel on a car. They dyno'ed before and after and free'd up 4 HP.

but aren't those normally V8's? Since the S2k flywheel is already really light, 16lbs...most of the lightweight ones don't free up too much power. My comptech, weighing 9lbs might have free'd 1-2hp but its benifits are noticed elsewhere
