Lower RPM at Idle
Just got an oil change today , put in 5.1 quarts of that Royal Purple in and after I started the car back up , the rpm is noticeably lower. About 3 bars lower I would say. The car sounds and feels a tiny bit shaky. Could this be due to the oil change and also , If I add a bit more would that stop the problem ? Driving it , it seems fine but the rpm is mostly noticeable during an idle stop. Thx

put some more in, but make sure you add a bit at a time, and check the level with the car on level ground. just dont go higher than the H. however, i dont think the oil level will affect your idle rpm, as long as the oil is within the accepted range.

lots of ppl have this problem. One guy stated to rev up a little bit over and over and it will stop. For me it happens when the engines cold. If I rev it up the rpms drop really low.

idk why that happens, but its always happened to me as well. after oil change, the idle drops significantly. on my old car thats how i used to judge when id need to change oil..lol, it was almost always at ~4Kmiles.
the shake is just cuz of the low idle...

Before that particular startup, the previous startup, was it in different ambient temperature? If that's the case, your engine could be doing a minor 'learning' because of different ambient temp/barometric pressure.
