Default low rpm at idle

AP1 S2000 with 80,000 miles

Warm engine, idle is 800-900 rpm.

When I turn on AC, idle drops to 500 rpm and engine feels like it's about to stall. Service manual says idle speed should increase from 750-850 to 850-950 with an added load like AC.

I recently installed an adjustable throttle position sensor from Omnipower to clear a CEL, and it worked; CEL is gone, but the idle problem seems to have gotten worse.

I've read the posts and done the following;

replaced air filter (stock --> stock)
cleaned throttle body and ports to IACV and MAP, new TB gasket of course
cleaned IACV - not spotlessly clean but it moves freely
replaced MAP and o-ring
cleared ECU and performed idle learn procedure
drove it for a week with no improvement
no CEL at present

Your suggestions would be most welcome as my next stop is the mechanic

P0122 - Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Circuit Low Input

voltage was 0.3V with the old sensor - should have no effect on the idle as the throttle is fully closed.

0.45v with the new sensor. also installed a new gasket under the sensor.

Tune the tps % to 6.

mmm

I'll give it a try but can you explain why?

6% is 0.27V; that's lower than what the old TPS was reading (0.3V) at idle when I had P0122

Instructions from Omnipower say set the TPS to give 0.45V at idle.

what gives?

I'm interested in this too. I too have idle problems and not long ago got a P0122. Cleared it and it hasn't come back since. The tps stickie was on my list if to-do's

OP, also curious if this solved your low idle problem?? I know you got rid if the code, but how's your car running?
