Default Low RPM Hesitation & Strong Odor

All these issues at once is such a PITA.

Anyone have an idea whats going on?? Its a strong exhaust odor emanating from under the car and I have bogging in low RPM's in 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

There's a CEL too. This might warrant a Dealer visit to at least get the codes....

Dont go to the dealer. Rent a scan tool from your auto parts store or borrow from a friend and pull the codes.

How long since the last tune up? (Spark plugs, air filter, etc)

Not that long ago, Timing was about a year ago, and a full tune up 6 mos.

Not sure If I know someone with a scan tool. I will check auto zone/pep boys

That sounds like a good explanation. Explains low end loss and smell if It's cracked/plugged.

The state of Californistan would be very disappointed in me.

idle and get your face down there to see what's going on.

Does it make any noise?

@CapoArgentino Who is that chick? I swear I've seen her somewhere before.
