The thing is the lift pad is oddly shaped with tiny notches so I'm not sure if it will slip too much if I remove it. I could go pick up a 2 ton jack that would go low enough but then I'd have 2 jacks.

I have the Costco jack. Not the aluminum one but it was $70 and is very low profile
