low oil reading on dip stick

thanks guys for your reply's. I did check the car cold, its been in storage since mid Sept and hasn't been fired up since. The car is in storage about 30 km from my house. So I'm good to drive home without adding oil to it then, correct?

have you got a 1/2 quart of any oil sitting around ?, just top it up a bit to be safe and peace of mind on the trip home.

On most cars it is 1qt from low-full line but ours is less. Checked cold at above minimum level even if sitting for that long will be about 1/3 up the stick. You are more than fine to drive it home without adding oil.
