low miles
#2
My 02 only had 12k on it when I picked it up last month. The only things I was concerned about related to the low miles were oil, brake fluid, coolant and tires. Tires are obvious (wear, dry rot) and the rest just change if there aren't any records.

I'd hate to tell you how many miles my '03 has, given the long hours I work and the lack of vacations...
I drive it about one day a week so the number of miles that I have on it makes your car look high-mileage.
With regular maintenance you mostly need to worry about the tires I'd say, as well as any cosmetic issues due to aging/light exposure. I guess that the issue is that you aren't the original owner so you don't know if the maintenance was done.

I picked up my 01 with 7800 miles on it in Febuary of 2007. Haven't had any problems yet except for the stock S02s which performed poorly. The only thing I am concerned with is replacing my serpentine belt which I will most likely be performing soon. Good luck!
