Low mileage S2k problem?
I have a 2008 S2k which has 12k miles on it. The car is always garaged and has never seen rain. The car is not driven hard.
Anyways, several months ago I noticed a stain on the front of the engine. The stain wiped right off so I didn't really think much about it. This stain keeps coming back so I assume it is a oil leak of some sort. Head gasket perhaps? Is a head gasket a common thing with the S2k? I am unsure of why this car with low mileage would already be having a leak here. The car only gets a couple 1,000 miles on it per year. Is this something I should try to fix, or just keep an eye on it and keep it wiped clean? I am really nervous at having people/shops work on my cars.

There is this threaded plug with a seal just under the valve cover. Center-front on head. Oil could be leaking from this plug. May need new seal. There is a specific procedure need to replace this seal. Need to get home to find the link. Or you can SEARCH this site.

The "plug" is a bolt (camwheel bolt), that is likely not your problem especially at your mileage.
You most likely have a chain case small oil seepage which is very common. The fix is quite extensive (oil pan and timing cover removal)
I would personally leave it be.

I checked the cam wheel bolt and there is no residue around or near it. I searched for chaincase oil leak and found a few photos of oil in the exact places as my car. So far everyone on the other thread also said not to worry about it. My photos look exactly like the ones in this thread:
