Low idling - normal?
Hey guys,
I've noticed when I've been driving that occasionally when I put the clutch in to come to a stop, the idling drops below 1000 RPM and does the whole "shake because my revs are low" thing. Then it bounces back up to 1000 RPM and is fine. It just seems to drop that low, then come back up again.
Especially when parking or reversing etc., it often tries to drop lower than 1000 RPM with the clutch fully engaged, and bounce back up - causing that slight shake.
Is this just normal or is something acting up?
Thanks!
edit: on another note, it's extremely hot here (summer). Probably 30-35 Celsius at the moment. And this problem usually only occurs during the day with the sun. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

count me in, I have been fighting this same problem for over 6 months and the dealer can't figure it out.
They have replaced the Map Sensor (TSB), and the Idle Air Control valve to no avail.
I want this fixed!

Mine idles at around 900-1,000 rpm all the time. When I rev it a little bit, then lift off, it goes down to about 100-200 rpm below idle for a split second, then goes back up to 900-1,000 rpm. If I take my foot off the gas and push in the clutch while driving, same thing, it goes down about 100-200 rpm below normal idle for a split second, then goes back up to 900-1,000 rpm.
