Low Idle/stall
I know there's lots of threads, this is a help not a question.
I used to have this issue, and it miraculously disappeared. I didn't know what I'd done. However it's now back, and with a vengeance.
The one thing I've done since parking up last, and driving today has been to remove the two oil catch cans from the two breather connections. I did this because I thought I wasn't getting any benefit (having never emptied either of them, I did discover the bottoms weren't on tight, and the PCV one was catching a bit, and dripping it out, I guess I don't have the oil leak I thought I had now either).
The main gist of this though is, I had the idle almost stalling issue before fitting the cans, I didn't have the idle stall problem at all while running two cans. Even just the cheap ones without baffles, and the first day of driving since taking them off the idle has dropped to below 200rpm as I come to a stop and dip the clutch/go into neutral.
I'll be re-fitting them I think, because if nothing else, it'll stop the very near stall issue.
